Enabling construction

Buildings shells are often built long before MEP design is complete. Opening’s locations formed on site can be outdated and require rework at the point MEP construction is ready. Equally technical requirements may need to be reviewed once MEP is finalised – for example minimum distances for fire integrity.

We understand this common issue on all construction projects and can proactively resolve to avoid any delay or unnecessary on-site administration.

Our services:

  • Technical review – As-built openings vs required openings

  • Technical review – Architectural layouts vs required openings

  • Opening drawings

  • Review of openings against fire damper requirements

  • Review of openings against proprietary fire solutions – firestopping.

  • Generation of opening request forms – common on site process.

  • Setting out and annotation of openings for site team

  • Hole As-built laser scanning service – point cloud to BIM comparison

We understand the process – and steps to be taken to avoid any reverse engineering on site.
